COVID-19 Update 7/15/20: The Maine Orthopaedic Review staff sets the health and well-being for all involved as our highest priority. MOR 2020 was held successfully and entirely online. We hope to be back on Colby Campus for 2021. The schedule will be updated as necessary on this website in real time and will be updated as decisions are made. Thank you for your patience.

Housing Registration

Colby’s housing includes lodging, all meals (dinner June 22 thru breakfast July 3), a jumbo lobster bake and use of campus amenities. A single room on campus for the duration of the course is $1000; Double room (shared with another registrant), is $900 per person. For less than 10 nights, the fee is $100 per night. They also offer a weekly rate of $500 (up to 6 nights).

Colby on campus dorms have limited suites with single rooms and shared living space and shared bathrooms. Accommodations for registrants and their families are available in the campus residence halls in private rooms. Because they are college residence halls, private rooms do not include private baths. There are double and single rooms. Light maid service, pillows, linen, blankets and towels are provided. Rooms are assigned on the basis of the date we receive a housing application and deposit; therefore, early registration is suggested. If you have a disability, please advise us on your registration.

Colby has new air conditioned dorms in downtown Waterville. The Commons is off-campus housing and requires a car to access. The Commons has private bedrooms, shared bathrooms, kitchens and a fitness center. MOR question bank is accessible from The Commons. Fee for The Commons includes meals in the campus dining hall 2 miles away as well as the Lobster Bake on Saturday, June 27th. A single room in The Commons for the duration of the course is $1,200.00. The weekly rate is $700.00 (6 nights). The nightly rate is $120.00. Registration for The Commons is through instead of this form.

Meals are served in a campus dining hall with unlimited servings. The hours are posted at registration. Vegetarian options are available at every meal. We can accommodate any dietary needs or food allergies.

All Colby housing registrants can enjoy Colby’s athletic complex, which includes a field house, squash courts, swimming pool, and fitness center with free weights and machines. The Wales Memorial Tennis Courts are open to course participants. You may want to bring your own racquet and equipment, although a limited amount of equipment is available for check out. There are well-marked jogging trails on campus. There are also several golf courses nearby, including a 5 diamond course.

Whether you choose to stay at Colby, The Commons, or at a local hotel, please let us know in the simple form below so we can plan for your stay. It’s important to note that the MOR online materials and tests are only available on the Colby campus. If you are in a hotel, then you’ll need to come to Colby to access them.
